For the 2012 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, the Yas Marina Circuit hosting the Formula 1 event needed a way to draw motorsports fans to their website in order to sell tickets to the race. They targeted Elaph.com as the biggest online publisher in the United Arab Emirates, and wanted to sponsor and own the whole of the motorsports section. We built for them a customised NewsWall, with branded outer page banners and integrated social media widgets to drive traffic back to Yas Marina's ticket sales page and social media profiles.
